About the Role

We are seeking a Wool Broker / Wool Buyer to manage operations at our Bordertown facility. This is a hands-on role where your wool knowledge and people skills will drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day wool store operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage and mentor a small team to achieve productivity and safety targets.
  • Liaise with wool growers and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.
  • Coordinate logistics, including transport and inventory management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Wool industry experience and a current Wool Classer’s stencil.
  • A natural ability to build rapport with wool growers and industry partners.
  • A valid MR Truck Driver’s Licence.
  • Prior leadership and team management skills or a willingness to step-up to a leadership role
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
