About The Role:

We are seeking a Wool Buyer to become a member of our Goulburn team. This is a hands-on role where your wool knowledge and people skills will drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

✅Play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the wool store, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
✅Support and assist a team to achieve productivity, safety, and quality targets.
✅Build and maintain strong relationships with wool growers and industry stakeholders.
✅Assist with the logistics of a wool buying operation, including transport coordination and inventory management.
✅Class, sort, press, and prepare wool for sale.
✅Learn the skills necessary to purchase a variety of wool types.

What We’re Looking For:

✅A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
✅Wool Industry experience. (A current Wool Classer’s Stencil is highly desirable.)
✅A valid MR Truck Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain one).
✅A Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one).
✅Basic computer proficiency.
