Livestock Administrator, Shepparton VIC
About the Role
The primary function of the role is to support the local Shepparton branch from a livestock administration perspective ensuring all sales are processed accurately and efficiently in line with AWN internal expectations.
The hours are flexible however ideally we seek a candidate who is available Monday to Friday working 9:30 am to 2:00 pm
Other functions of the role will be:
Support the branch with other administrative duties as and when required
Support the wider livestock division and work closely with the Livestock Administration Manager.
Assist with the preparation of events such as field days, on property stud sales, saleyard and special sales. Attendance at events may be required for on-site support where relevant.
Skills required for this role:
The ability to communicate (both verbal & written) with various stakeholders will be crucial for this role. Those stakeholders include the livestock administration manager, branch manager, other internal admin staff, livestock managers & reps.
Ability to work autonomously and with small teams.
Teamwork and collaboration are an important aspect of this role.
Excellent time management skills and the agility to re-prioritise tasks on a regular basis.
An eye for detail
Fully competent working with PC’s and MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge of livestock software, applications and processes. SaleG8 systems knowledge would be advantageous.
Applicants will ideally have 5+ years industry experience
