Group 1: 39 Cows
1st to 5th Calvers with the odd older cow included. They have been in milk for up to 6 weeks. These cows have been PTIC.
- 12 Friesian Cows
- 6 Friesian Jersey Cross Cows
- 21 Jersey Cows
Group 2: 52 Cows
1st to 5th Calvers with the odd older cow included. Cows to calve from 24th May until 15th July 2023. These cows have been PTIC.
- 31 Jersey Cows: sired by AI Jersey Bulls – Spiritual and T-Bone
- Jersey Cows AI’d to Jersey Bulls – Pikstar and Boast
- 12 Friesian Cows: sired by AI Friesian Bulls – Ernesto, Lion Heart and Freddie
- Friesian Cows AI’d to Magic
- 9 Friesian Jersey Cross Cows: sired by AI Jersey Bulls – Spiritual and T-Bone
- Friesian Jersey Cross Cows AI’d to Beef Bulls
*All of the better cows in each breed have been AI’d to the above bulls
*Balance of cows were AI’d to beef bulls – Angus, Gelbvieh and Composite Bulls.
Group 3: 39 Heifers
- 13 Friesian Heifers, rising 2 years have been depastured to Jersey Bulls to commence calving 18th May 2023.
- 26 Jersey Heifers, rising 2 years have been depastured to Jersey Bulls to commence calving 18th May 2023.
Vendors have been milking for 50 years and have been a closed herd for 40 years.
