About the Role:
AWN is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office & Administration Manager to lead the administrative function of our livestock and real estate operations across the Wimmera. Based in Horsham, this hands-on role is responsible for overseeing a small team of administrators while ensuring smooth day-to-day processes, compliance, and high-quality customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a small admin team, ensuring efficient workflow and task coordination.
- Manage documentation for livestock sales (auctions and private), including data entry, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (NLIS, NVDs, PICs).
- Act as a primary contact for clients, vendors, and transporters.
- Maintain accurate records of livestock movements and transactions.
- Support livestock agents with scheduling, logistics, and sale day preparation.
- Keep up to date with livestock and real estate legislation and ensure documentation meets all standards.
- Oversee and coordinate timely compliance with Work Health and Safety (WH&S) regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Experience in managing small teams and coordinating daily operations is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with livestock systems (e.g., NLIS, LPA) is a bonus.
- Prior experience in administration, preferably with some exposure to agriculture.
