Our Commitment to Supporting Mental Health

At AWN, we aim to be at the cutting edge of everything we do, including supporting our people’s mental health and wellbeing. In 2021 AWN was recognised by Mental Health First Aid Australia as a Mental Health First Aid Skilled Workplace. This program recognises workplaces that invest in developing mental health first aid skills in their people and demonstrate commitment to embedding the program into the business culture.

AWN’s commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of its staff includes:

  • The implementation of relevant policies around mental health, detailing how AWN supports the program
  • Training and supporting new and current Mental Health First Aid officers
  • Continuous improvement of systems and processes to promote mental health
