As a Wool Buyer/Truck Driver, your primary role will be to assist in all day-to-day wool store operations to enable continued growth and expansion of the wool buying business in the region. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with strong communication skills and a sound knowledge of agriculture in Australia.

As part of the Horsham Wool Buying team, you will:
- Assist in all day-to-day wool store operations, providing excellent customer service to our wool grower clients
- Learn the skills necessary to purchase a variety of wool types at the store door and on farm
- Drive a medium rigid truck to pick up wool bales on farm (a truck licence is not essential as appropriate training will be provided to the successful applicant)
- Class, sort and prepare purchased wool for sale
- Communicate with and support the broker team in the area
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in the region
- Support other wool division initiatives and projects as required
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Previous experience in the wool industry preferred but not essential
- A sound knowledge of agricultural practices in Australia
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Sound computer skills
- Forklift licence or be prepared to obtain one
- Medium Ridgid licence would be an advantage
