AWN was proud to be a major sponsor of LambEx 2026, Australia’s premier sheep and lamb industry conference, held in Adelaide from 7-9 July. The event attracted a record-breaking attendance and brought together producers, processors, exporters, researchers and agribusiness professionals from across Australia and around the world.
Throughout the three-day conference, the AWN team welcomed delegates to its interactive trade display, where the popular FastPutt Challenge proved to be a standout attraction. The display provided a relaxed and engaging environment for catching up with clients, meeting new contacts and strengthening relationships across the sheep and lamb supply chain.
Representing AWN at LambEx 2026 were Ben Stace, Tim Pryor, Rick Maybury, Tom Simmons, Wayne Driscoll, Ash Driscoll, Matt Lewis, Sam Kyprianou and Rose Nevinson. The team spent the event networking with producers, meat processors and industry stakeholders while participating in discussions focused on the future of the sector.
A key theme throughout the conference was the strong confidence expressed by industry leaders in the future of Australia’s sheep and lamb industry. Presentations from leading Australian and international speakers highlighted the sector’s resilience, innovation and long-term growth opportunities, providing valuable insights into market trends, productivity improvements, genetics and sustainability initiatives.
