Brett Gregor

Brett has been farming for 5 years and grew up on Kangaroo Island. He is a third generation farmer.
“We started farming on Kangaroo Island running sheep during the soldier settlement scheme which I
think was around 1952/53”, he says.
Q. Why do you love growing wool/being a farmer?
A. One of the main reasons I enjoy farming is the ability to produce top quality products from little
more than some land, some rain and a bit of hard work. I like running a business and I enjoy
producing wool to make quality clothing that other people get to enjoy and wear.
Q. What does it mean to you to know who is wearing your wool?
A. The Australian Wool Network DNA program is exciting. Its exciting to think that someone gets
enjoyment out of the products we have worked so hard to produce.
Q. What would you like to say to the person wearing your wool?
A. Thank You! You have made a great decision to buy wool!
